"Claremont's X-Men" by Jason Powell

Long-time readers of this site are likely familiar with Jason Powell, a fellow X-blogger and Chris Claremont aficionado who literally wrote the book on Claremont's X-Men run. But they (or you) may not know that Jason is also an accomplished stage actor and songwriter (having crafted at least one superhero-themed opera), and he has combined all these various areas of expertise into an epic musical ode to Chris Claremont's X-Men run, recapping, via song, the characters, events, and, yes, writerly tics that comprise Claremont's 15 years writing about the X-Men.

Enjoy!

    1. It sounds like you've already been sold on the book, but just in case, I also did an interview with Jason about it back when it came out, which you can read here. :)

  2. The Marvel Age of Comics 1961-78 is a nice coffee table book that I just purchased. It is filled with beautiful art from Kirby, Ditko, Steranko etc.
It has many old photos and interesting anecdotes from Roy Thomas.

The Sean Howe book broadened my Marvel horizons, I enjoyed learning the Atlas,Timely stuff.

My dream is a book by Jim Shooter.
