So my buddy Blam has gone to town lately with a series of hilarious images inspired by Game of Thrones, my favorite of which is above. For any GoT fans who haven't checked out these posts yet, be sure to do so. You can find them here and here.
And I appreciate the compliment, Sarah — the Pinterest-ing too. I'm tempted to start a board (or whatever) of my own over there, but I really don't need something new to obsess over online right now.
Every now and then when I check my Stats > Traffic Sources > Now, Teebore, I see a link or few from over here, but what's really funny is when the source is an overseas URL. I knew that a certain amount of my traffic came from other countries, but I hadn't realized that Blogger had mirror sites for all its users' blogs across so many domain names; apparently, they don't count as referring sites but are considered versions of the blog itself and so don't show up as Traffic Sources when it comes to one's own blog. Yet today in addition to visits from gentlemenofleisure1.blogspot.com I got visits from gentlemenofleisure1.blogspot.co.uk and gentlemenofleisure1.blogspot.com.au, for instance.
Of course, I hear that Blogger's Stats are pretty unreliable and find internal inconsistencies or just outright WTFs myself often — among the latter, stuff that makes me doubt if even relative comparisons can be made, like how the count for my single biggest All-Time Traffic Source frequently goes down. I guess it's just another read to change services, as well as finally make the leap to something like Google Analytics.
Ooh, my fav of the new ones is the Iron Man one.
ReplyDeleteTop notch, Blam, Top notch
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to thank you for this, Mr. T.

That, as a wise man once said, is all.
