Last Week in TV...

...is moving to Fridays!

In an effort to try to stay more current, and to cut down on goofy weeks where we talk about an episode of Walking Dead the day after another episode airs*, "Last Week in TV" will now post on Fridays.

So look for the next, quasi-double-sized post this Friday!

*This Friday's post will still feature outdated Walking Dead reviews...

...i'm not sure how i feel about this. I mean, i agree that it would be awesome to be caught up, but also, i tend to forget to check blogs on fridays. I guess we'll see how it goes

@Sarah: also, i tend to forget to check blogs on fridays.

Well, it'll still be there on Monday.

Also, I won't let you forget. :)

yeah- i worry i'll be late to the party too, since i don't work on Fridays (and clearly work time is the best time for non-work related blogs)

fair enough. As long as you're OK with possible late comments. And i'm not even sure it will be an issue

No worries, comments are good no matter when they come.

Heck, I may not even be that on top of comments on Friday myself.

Ha! Oh, I loves me the deadpan hilarity.

Anyway, I'm glad about the move myself. I breathed a sigh of relief last Monday to see that the episode of Walking Dead you'd written up was the last one I saw; the bad news is that I still haven't seen any of the episodes since then or commented on that post.

VW: knarl — A gnarled knuckle.

Who brought cake? I came back because I forgot to check the E-mail box last night and my word verification is "icing".

Yeah, I'm not going to lie: the move to Fridays makes sense long term, but when Dr. Bitz first suggested it to me, the initial appeal was that making the move now bought me a few more days to get caught up following the holiday.

You can only pull that trick once, though. 8^) (Well, I mean, there's always Saturday and Sunday.)

I've entered triage mode in terms of television and just about all of my activities. The Buffy Rewatch is getting more complicated as it wraps up, because Angel starts to cross over again; I can't get too far behind on Stewart and Colbert because they're both high-volume and topical; certain posts at my own blog, in terms of writing, and on friends' blogs, in terms of commenting, should be addressed before the end of the year, because leftovers of that type aren't usually so yummy. I'm pretty sure that whether I decide to watch the oldest episode of everything first or go through series in bunches where bunches of episodes exist in my queue I'm not going to be caught up enough to say much in terms of Last Week in TV anytime soon.

Yeah, I plan to use the holiday hiatus to power through some chunks of stuff that's piling up on my queue (Once Upon a Time, Grimm, Hell on Wheels, etc.) whereas as some other stuff I'll continue to watch week to week. Which might make for some interesting, off-model "Last Week in TV" posts, but we'll see.

At any rate, your thoughts, of course, are always welcome, at whatever volume or rate as time provides.
