I've never actually read it, and while I have designs on catching up on however much of the pre-Excalibur Captain Britain stuff I can before I start covering that series (and devote an off-model post of some kind to that material), I don't currently have access to any of the Moore/Jaspers stuff and likely won't before getting to issue #200, so I won't be able to do a full post on it before then.

Not like you need my permission, I know...

You joke, but I definitely do want to make sure I do these posts in a manner and schedule that suits a majority of my readers (while, granted, still leaving me a modicum of sanity and free time). After all, without you guys, I'd just be shouting at an empty room (more so...).

I'm fairly certain I can handle three books a week on a regular basis. What'll get tricky is when we get to Excalibur and Wolverine which, as I have it roughly mapped out, will probably happen early in 2014. But, as we've discussed before, I may be handling those in a slightly different manner that takes up less time and creative energy.

Once X-Men (vol.2) launches though (which seems like forever away but will probably be here before you or I know it), I almost certainly will switch to covering one X-Men title and a spinoff or two one week, then the other X-Men book and the rest of the spinoffs the next week, and so on. I read the 1989 Captain Britain TPB when it came out circa Excalibur's launch, and I know I got the 1995 X-Men Archives series that reprinted earlier stuff, but I have no memory of Mad Jim Jaspers or the Jaspers Warp.

I also wanted to say that once we get to the explosion of X-Men spinoffs, or even before that, if you have to alternate weeks to keep it to two or three X-Men posts a week, I'm totally cool with that. Not like you need my permission, I know... 8^)

Blamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342343767763035991noreply@blogger.com
