Good for him. I know the Tagge family plays a greater role as this series goes along, though I assume it's under the old canon of Tagge being dead. I found it interesting Han refers to General Tagge here in the present tense; I assume that was a mistake on Goodwin's part, or perhaps he wanted to use Tagge but was later told by LucasFilm that the character had died.

My knowledge of the Wheel comes from the STAR WARS ROLEPLAYING GAME material. I can't recall in which book I first read about it, though. But the Wheel is still making the rounds in the RPGs, as a recent adventure from current rights-holder Fantasy Flight Games begins aboard the station. I don't think that means it's part of the new EU canon, however, as apparently all RPG products are automatically declared "Legends" material from the get-go.

It's kind of crazy how much the Wheel predicts Cloud City. Besides the stuff you pointed out -- Greyshade working in the same capacity as Lando and the station's autonomous nature outside the Empire's purview -- there's also the fact that it's said to attract a lot of wealthy patrons. I'm not sure when it got pulled into the mythos, but Cloud City became known as a destination for the rich and powerful as well in the Expanded Universe, where it's said to be filled with casinos, shopping districts, and so forth.

"Strom's Star Destroyer is highly off-model in this issue."

It is, but Han has some line about it not being a full-fledged Star Destroyer, so my guess is that it's simply intended to be another class of vessel. Given how much effort Infantino puts into the Falcon and the TIE fighters this issue, it seems unlikely he would mess up a Star Destroyer so badly.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14580725636327122073noreply@blogger.com
