Do you know how kickass it would be then?
Super kickass.

-SAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-76134517639278391872008-12-04T16:14:00.000-06:002008-12-04T16:14:00.000-06:00Yeah, I definitely agree with herosite.net that th...Yeah, I definitely agree with herosite.net that there needed to be more fear from Arthur about being powerless and his lackey's making a move against him and with you that a meaningful death caused by an eclipse-caused lack of power would have given the whole event some much-needed dramatic weight.Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-73080137449826951402008-12-04T12:14:00.000-06:002008-12-04T12:14:00.000-06:00I kind of agree with Herosite.net review that says...I kind of agree with Herosite.net review that says asside from Claire, Elle, and Sylar, (and I suppose the reveal regarding Daphne), you really didn't get to see the people who truly rely on their power react to not having powers.
Especially Arthur. I would've loved to have seen Arthur go from powerful, cerebral kingpin to powerless old man. Like, when Mohinder to escaped the facility it would've been cool to see Arthur almost try to stop him, realize he's just an average dude now, and then go hide from Mohinder and cower in fear. Kind of a "the bullies are the biggest cowards of all" sort of thing.
You could go further and have one of Arthur's minions see this as an opportunity to take Arthur's position and kill Arthur. Considering Arthur has Adam's power now, he'd come back to life after the eclipse. And then it could set up some cool tension between Arthur and his minions in which he doesn't trust any of them but at the same time needs them to complete his plans.
Still, a meaningful, permanent death directly caused by the eclipse and someone's lack of powers would make the whole 'game-changing' build up to the eclipse seem more satisfying.Dr. Bitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568570859981368717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-34590323011805609962008-12-04T09:41:00.000-06:002008-12-04T09:41:00.000-06:00Plus, the death of Elle at Bennet's hands would gi...Plus, the death of Elle at Bennet's hands would give Sylar a more believable motivation to say "screw this noise" to the whole trying-to-be-a-good-guy thing.Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-76747704346687304012008-12-03T19:56:00.000-06:002008-12-03T19:56:00.000-06:00Amen to that. Then Sylar would have even *more* of a grudge against Bennett.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
