And of course, in true Venture Bros. fashion, it's tainted with the absurd enough that it can't feel like a bonafide win for the character.

Most of the songs were pretty blah for me.

Ditto. I know this more my limited scope of music's fault than the show's, but I generally enjoy the performances of songs I know more than the ones I don't. I try to enjoy unknown songs on the merits of their performance, and sometimes I can, but I'm far more likely to enjoy the performance of a song I know more than one I don't.

The only way she knows how to relate to boys is by sleeping with them and Artie's a dumbass if he didn't know that.

Agreed.

The other thing that pissed me off about that situation was that Artie did the standard TV character thing of being so righteously angry that he won't even listen to the other person's side of things, thereby prolonging the drama.

It's one of those things that TV writers have characters do all the time (for obvious reasons) but which strikes me as being very unrealistic and thus bothersome (another example would be the old "I'm going to continue to lie to this character for his own protection even though he'll eventually find out and the fallout will be worse than if I just had been honest from the beginning" chestnut designed to manufacture drama in the episodes between the lie's occurrence and it's revelation).Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-36088108985280899392010-10-19T10:07:05.181-05:002010-10-19T10:07:05.181-05:00My favorite line on VB was "Everything's ...My favorite line on VB was "Everything's different now! Because of sex!"
I mean, who would have ever thought Hank would get that far with any woman.

I was not a big fan of Glee. Most of the songs were pretty blah for me. Also, since i love Brittney and typically can't stand Artie, that whole thing just pissed me off.
Like he has a right to get mad at her for sleeping with him when he was dating her to make Tina jealous. The only way she knows how to relate to boys is by sleeping with them and Artie's a dumbass if he didn't know that.
She talks about all the time.Sarah Ahiershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02795455714801965956noreply@blogger.com
