Seemingly 90% of all video games, movies, etc. referenced in the book were described as a "classic 80s" whatever. Which, while arguably true, doesn't change the fact that the author needed to change up that particular adjective a bit more. You defeat the Reapers (or not if you really screwed up some decisions), everyone rejoices, you bang whatever partner you hitched your wagon to and you're declared a galactic hero. They just tried to do to much and be arty and...I don't know...but it didn't work.<br /><br />And, even worse, the majority of the decisions in the game don't really affect the outcome.<br /><br />And I was looking forward to playing more games set in that universe but that's not really possible...unless they're prequels...which I would not be a fan of.<br /><br />Oy...sorry...I should get off my soapbox.<br /><br /><i>@Teebore: Overuse of the word "classic" within the text aside, Ready Player One was pretty awesome.
