At first I thought Chaykin forgot he was killed last issue and Glut was covering for him with dialogue, but then he played a huge role in the issue's finale! Now I wonder if Chaykin and Thomas were just making this up as they went along and backpedaled on Don Wan's death when they realized they might need him again after all.

I'm going to try and work "Holy beek monkeys!" into my everyday lexicon.

"The droids are once again referred to as 'robots'."

Does anyone else hear this word in the voice of Dr. Zoidberg, regardless of who's saying it?

"With three separate artists credited to the issue, it's unclear (to this artisitic layman, at least) who is responsible for what..."

I agree. If you have someone doing layouts and Tom Palmer, of all people, doing inks, why the heck do you need a penciler? My guess might be that, per his quote earlier about Kupperberg ghosting for Chaykin from the start, Thomas or Glut wanted to throw some credit Kupperberg's way. Or, alternatively, Kupperberg maybe just did thumbnail layouts and Chaykin provided full pencils based on those.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14580725636327122073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-64565200745738671022015-07-13T17:00:52.512-05:002015-07-13T17:00:52.512-05:00I give Roy Thomas credit and props for getting the...I give Roy Thomas credit and props for getting the comic property off the ground (or into space)—but Archie Goodwin's run is pure gold for me.
