So not only was it advertised as such, it also had a purpose for visiting all of those alternate worlds.

Excaliber was never advertised as such ("We're the X-men of Europe! Or, we're continuing the X-men's mission while they're dead! Or...wait, what is our purpose?"). And there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to the Cross Time Caper. Just randomly visiting random worlds. If they at least had a purpose, or goal, like the Exiles did, it probably would feel so damn tedious. wwk5dnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-89194740183959633142015-05-22T00:14:35.358-05:002015-05-22T00:14:35.358-05:00Didn't that X-series from the early 2000s, &qu...Didn't that X-series from the early 2000s, "Exiles," last like 7 years?

After year one, did readers spend the next six years writing letters saying, "Enough with this whole jumping around from one reality to the next. Don't remember if it got pointed out upon her premiering.

The bit I liked was demonic Illyana incantating the foulest of all magic, law, to make Justicers go away.

I also find myself thinking about Justice Peace, somehow.Teemunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-61618253384282926212015-05-21T13:29:49.936-05:002015-05-21T13:29:49.936-05:00Well, the Caper ends soon, thankfully. So we have that to look forward to.

This issue isn't bad, but the fatigue from the never-ending nature of this storyline probably knocks it down a peg or 3. Taken on it's own, it's a pretty decent read, and better than some of the other issues we've seen this story started. But taken as a whole....just end it already, CC.

Though I do like the "it was a legal resurrection" bit. wwk5dnoreply@blogger.com
