So even if I was to use ReadComicOnline to get scans for something not available digitally elsewhere, I'd still want to have actually purchased the issue in some form (digitally, single issue, in a print or digital trade collection, etc.) before doing so (I do have a hardcover copy of the Scorpio Connection, for example). It's just a weird hangup I have.
