But we'll have bigger problems then).

I also feel bad that Sun's been given pretty much nothing to do this year. She is by no means a favorite character of mine, but I was really hoping her alliance with Widmore would have paid off more. Hopefully she and Jin will get a bit of the spotlight next season.

And I'm still not convinced that Juliet is dead. I know for a fact that the actress will be on the show next season, in a limited capacity. It just remains to be seen whether she'll be alive and normal, or dead and weird (or only appearing in flashbacks). Either way, she'll be around in some way, which is good, because yeah, Lost has been severely lacking in good female characters for some time.Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-81657804701258645762009-07-14T14:20:03.311-05:002009-07-14T14:20:03.311-05:00This was a very mediocre season for me. The only ...This was a very mediocre season for me. The only episodes I really enjoyed were "Jughead", "LaFleur" and anything that dealt with the time jumping castaways left on the island.

The whole Kate/Aaron storyline was a botch job from the beginning. Nothing really came from it. Nor did anything come from Sayid's shooting of Young Ben. Instead, Richard Alpert magically heals the kid and tells Kate and Sawyer that his innocence has disappeared for good. Talk about bad writing! "316" bored me. Kate's so-called episode "Whatever Happened, Happened", was an exercise in emotional manipulation to get the character popular again. Sun and Jin's storyline came to nothing. Even worse, it looks as if Juliet Burke, one of the show's best female characters, was killed off.

As for the Oceanic Six storyline . . . I can't even say anything. I found it so disappointing.

Season Four was better than Season Five, as far as I'm concerned. Yet, because of the explosion at the end of latter's finale, Season Five will end up collecting award nominations that it does not deserve. The Rush Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13667282586023023623noreply@blogger.com
