Kind of puts a damper on all the critics who said only fans of the comic would like the movie.

Although I do wonder about all the people who went to the movie expecting your average superhero movie and instead got sex, violence, and their delicate sensibilities offended....hehehehe...Dr. Bitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568570859981368717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-32986254146028830912009-03-16T19:46:00.000-05:002009-03-16T19:46:00.000-05:00I also hadn't read the comic yet and had absol...I also hadn't read the comic yet and had absolutely no problem following the leaps thru time and whatnot. I had no trouble following this movie whatsoever. And I didn't even get bored when it was slow. In fact I had trouble finding a good spot to run visit the ladie's room. I liked this movie, and I'm halfway thru the comic and still like the movie.

>^,,^<Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-8816645489343297512009-03-16T17:16:00.000-05:002009-03-16T17:16:00.000-05:00Yeah, I'm just saying that adding subtitles as to ...Yeah, I'm just saying that adding subtitles as to what year the flashback was taking place in couldn't hurt anything.

I would say that pacing is the biggest problem of the movie. Although, if you know the story or watch the movie second time it should be better, since you now understand where the plot is headed.Dr. Bitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568570859981368717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-75677014425403875022009-03-16T16:00:00.000-05:002009-03-16T16:00:00.000-05:00i haven't read the comic and i had no problems at ...i haven't read the comic and i had no problems at all following the jumps between past and present. i actually liked the jumping back and forth quite a bit and as i told teebore, my main issue with the movie was that the pace seemed to slow down (well, change anyway) after the prison break.Sarah Ahiershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02795455714801965956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-6767743695505815182009-03-13T09:28:00.000-05:002009-03-13T09:28:00.000-05:00Alan Moore would just call me an imbecile that doe...Alan Moore would just call me an imbecile that doesn't understand Art for even suggesting that I liked the movie.
He would then go off to have a threesome with his wife and mistress....which is pretty much his ultimate trump card in any argument.Dr. Bitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568570859981368717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7266470995513648978.post-31697785418292966662009-03-13T09:12:00.000-05:002009-03-13T09:12:00.000-05:00I think Alan Moore would appreciate your compariso...I think Alan Moore would appreciate your comparison of the Watchmen movie-going experience to the assembling of a watch, should he stop flinging magical curses at us from beneath his beard long enough to do so.

I liked the analogy, at least.Austin Gortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281239771248780430noreply@blogger.com
