Ten Pop Culture-y Things For Which Teebore Is Thankful

Dairy Queen's Chicken Strip basket

Community and Modern Family, two fantastic and hilarious new sitcoms that have me fighting with myself over which is better (usually, it's whichever one I watched last that wins), as well as the return of Better Off Ted in a few weeks.

Dr. Mrs. the Monarch

My new HD TV and Blu Ray player.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month): While I may fail miserably at the goal of writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days, it has gotten me to write something, good or bad, (most) every day, and that's an accomplishment.

The Smoon

Ted Roberts, for livening up some otherwise dull Silver Age Roy Thomas X-Men stories with his stalkerish ways.

Crossword Puzzles

That the new Bon Jovi CD isn't nearly as country-ish as their last album.

The Vikings

 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  2. Happy Way Late Thanksgiving! I love crosswords too. Did you ever see the TV show "Merv Griffin's Crosswords"? I really liked it but it only lasted a couple of months. I guess the low velocity and even lower drama of filling out the grid wasn't enough to hold most people :(

  4. @Baroness: I can neither confirm nor deny that.

@Joan: Happy Late Thanksgiving to you too. I vaguely recall that show. I'm not surprised it didn't succeed; crosswords aren't the most exciting thing in the world to watch someone do...

@Falen: the difference is, you kicked Nano's ass. :)
